Teresa Haven Pelinski, an author, was born on August 23, 1960, in Orangeburg, South Carolina, to Jefferson D. and Lucretia K. Baltzegar. She retired from state government in 2007 after 29 years of service and now lives in Gilbert, South Carolina, with her husband, John J. Pelinski. She has one daughter, Jensen. She has four stepchildren and eight grandchildren, all of whom she adores. She started singing at church as a child. She is a singer-songwriter because she loves Jesus Christ. She's now working on her debut gospel record. She started her ministry in 2006.

Her ministry focuses on visiting, praying for, promoting wellness, and even singing to the sick in the hospital or at their home, as requested by their family.

She is a prayer warrior, and her great faith in Jesus Christ helped her through many difficult times, depressions, and fears as a child. Her faith has always been strong, and she knows Jesus is with her at all times. She enjoys painting and creating in her spare time. She also enjoys visiting a fitness centre. She emphasises the importance of staying in shape. She believes that in order to care for your loved ones, you must first take care of yourself.
